Amanda was born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Tourism Management. While attending Purdue she worked for Marriott International in Indianapolis, Indiana and Lexington, Kentucky.

Following her full-service hotel days, Amanda accepted the position of Event Manager for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Her responsibilities included planning meetings and events for Chamber members, business leaders and State Officials throughout the Bluegrass state.

With Amanda’s passion for people, fine linens, and gorgeous flowers it was inevitable she would expand her focus to weddings and other social events. Her goal – to exceed expectations with details, frill, and lots of fun!

While working for Marriott in Lexington, Amanda met and married her husband, Case Spencer. Case and Amanda have two fellas, Griffin and Russ. Along with their yellow lab, Julep, they are a family privileged to be working with families on such joyous occasions.

Amanda is a member of Hilton Head Island Cotillion, active with The Celebration Projects, and volunteers with Children’s Miracle Network.

Wedding Day Favorite: “I adore being with my brides right before they walk down the aisle. All of our hard work, months (sometime years) of emails, conference calls, planning, and zooms are worth it for that very moment! The excitement in the groom’s face, the butterflies and sparkle the bride portrays, and the pride that the father of the bride has walking his little girl down the aisle – that is what it is all about, folks! Not to mention I love wedding cake!”


CASE SPENCER

Case was born and raised in Quitman, Georgia and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Economics and Business. He has worked with Marriott International for over a decade. His duties have included Housekeeping manager, Front Office manager, Director of Rooms, Director of Restaurants, and General Manager. Case specializes in car loading and heavy lifting for the Spencer Special Events ladies on wedding day and is much more than a right hand man. Our clients love the level of service he brings to an event and has even been dragged out to the dance floor by one of our favorite brides!


ALLISON KERSCHBAUM

Allison was born and raised in Kentucky. She attended Georgetown College and after graduation was hired as the Special Projects Coordinator for her alma mater. After a few years of public relations and event experience, she started a career with Marriott International where she served as Catering Manager, Event Manager and Sales Manager. It was at Marriott’s Griffin Gate Resort in Lexington, KY that Allison met Amanda, Case and her husband, Art. The crew has been friends for years and they are still planning parties together! After Allison and Art married, she took a hiatus from the hustle of full service hotel life and dove into design projects which included many homes, a tour bus and designing and managing the construction of a houseboat from the hull up! She then took a few years to focus on her passion, serving families of children with special needs first as the Director of Operations for the Down Syndrome Association of Central Kentucky and finally as the Director of Family Services for the Lexington Hearing and Speech Center.

After many visits to the Low Country over the years, Allison and her husband decided to make Bluffton their home. Allison made her way back to events working for the awesome clients of her dear friend Amanda Spencer and Art is continuing his career as the Director of Finance in hospitality. The couple has two children, Deuce (Art, Jr.) and Annie Rose and a Goldendoodle named Derby.
