Here at Spencer Special Events we LOVE to make your experience as easy and effortless as possible by taking some of those overwhelming tasks and details off your plate. I'm sure that leaves you wondering what you and your Groom-to-be need to get done and where do we start!

Before you can leave the details to us, here is a quick list to help you prepare for what to expect in the next exciting year ahead. For a full detailed timeline of your wedding year, please feel free to contact us for a welcome to the Spencer Special Events family wedding guide!

Here are a few key tips to creating the perfect guest database. 

Most online wedding websites have free templates for guest lists for those of us that are not excel experts. Most importantly, you want to make sure all guests are in alphabetical order and their names are spelled correctly. You can use an excel spreadsheet to keep everything organized. Just make sure to include tabs for the following:

Guest household info:

- Address


- Table assignments

- Menu Selections

- How many attending from the household

- Accommodations

Once the tabs are created you can have all this important info in one spot. That way when vendors are in need of guest lists and table arrangements, or even addresses for the invites, you can easily access and copy into a new list. 

Here are a few lists that will be asked for before the big day:

- Alphabetical Guest List

- Seating arrangements, typically in list format with the table as the header and guests listed below. Or a floor plan with guests listed at each table. 

- Alphabetical Guest List with table numbers listed as well as what each guest is having for dinner if the choice entree is the route you have decided to go!

- Don't forget to let us know where your guests plan to stay while visiting for your destination wedding! This will help us double check the room blocks and with delivering of welcome gifts!

All items above help SSE to stay organized while executing the wedding day of your dreams. Once those pesky lists are finished, you can sit back, relax, and leave the details to us!
