Wedding Day Favorite: “I LOVE being with my brides right before they walk down the aisle. (We are best friends!) All of our hard work, months (sometime years) of emails, conference calls and planning are worth it for that very moment! The excitement in the groom’s face, the butterflies and sparkle the bride portrays, and the pride that the father of the bride has walking his little girl down the aisle – that is what it is all about, folks! Not to mention I love a bite of wedding cake!”
Megan Wayt was born and raised in the wilds of Southern California. A hair stylist by trade, she began her love affair with weddings styling gorgeous updos and long, loose waves for Brides and their maids. She has been featured in publications such as Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, Green Wedding Shoes, and the Australian White Magazine. As she continued down the stylist path she realized she wanted to be a part of the action and help to craft all those beautiful details that make up an affair. One year and a cross-country move later, Megan landed herself in the South and found the perfect home at Spencer Special Events. She is excited to jump into the wedding world of the Lowcountry as well as bring a little of her California flavor to South Carolina.
