Amanda Spencer was born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Tourism Management. While attending Purdue she worked for Marriott International in Indianapolis, IN and Lexington, KY.  Hospitality was a natural fit for Amanda.
     In 2003, Amanda accepted the position of Event Manager for the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Her responsibilities included planning meetings and events for Chamber members, business leaders and State Officials throughout the Bluegrass state.
     With Amanda’s passion for people, it was inevitable she would expand her focus to weddings, anniversaries, and other social events. Her goal - to exceed expectations! “I truly have the best job in the whole world. I love meeting with brides for the first time and sharing my enthusiasm and ideas with families who are about to plan emotional and exciting events that will create memories for years to come!”
     After moving to South Carolina, Amanda continued to pursue her passion for planning special events and is even more excited to share this beautiful part of the country with those who are looking for that special place - The Lowcountry.
     While working for Marriott in Lexington, Amanda met and married her soul mate, Case Spencer. Case was born and raised in Quitman, GA and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Economics and Business. He has worked with Marriott International for 13 years. His duties have included Housekeeping manager, Front Office manager, Director of Rooms, Director of Restaurants, and General Manager.
     Case and Amanda celebrated their own special event - the birth of their son Griffin in August of 2009. Along with their yellow lab Libby, they are a family privileged to be working with families on such joyous occasions.
     In addition to Amanda’s dedication to her clients, she also tries to keep involved with community activities. She is a member of the Junior League of Savannah, serves as a volunteer with the American Heart Association Heart Ball, and is involved with the Children’s Miracle Network.
     Amanda and her more than capable staff will work together to ensure that every Spencer Special Event goes off without a hitch.

Lindsay Daly joined the Spencer Special Events team in 2010. Raised in Lexington, Virginia and Simsbury, Connecticut, Lindsay graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Art History. After graduation, Lindsay moved to New York City and accepted a position in the J Crew Corporate office as a designer and buyer. Lindsay’s natural abilities in creative design, attention to detail, budget balancing, and her efforts to deliver the best customer experience is what makes her the perfect fit for Spencer Special Events.

When Lindsay is not hard at work for Spencer Special Events, she also is very involved with community activities; she is a member of the Junior League of Savannah and serves as a volunteer for Hospice Care of the Lowcountry.

Amanda and Lindsay truly have the spirit to serve and they will work together to ensure every event is not only special but also perfect!
